Nyando Sub Location is located in Koru Location, Muhoroni division, Muhoroni sub county, in Kisumu County, and is neighboring Koru Central, Homalime, Chemelil, Nyangore, West Songhor, Kibigori, Tonde, Orego, Muhoroni East, Owaga, East Songhor, Upper Tamu, Lower Tamu, God Abuoro, Kandege, Ochoria sub locations. It has a total popupation of 2,574, of which 1,309 (51%) are male and 1,265 (49%) are female. The sub location has 545 households which averages 4.7 persons per household. Its land area is 15.90 square km and a population density of 162 persons per square kilometer.
